I love setting the table, and mix-matching cool linens with unique stone and flatware for a customized look. Patterned or graphic table linens have become a little scarce in recent years, but let's take a dive into some of my favorite clean, modern and updated uses of pattern and print on contemporary tablescapes. Wide-set monochromatic stripes are homey and charming--they can go farmhouse or beachy. Great combos are natural finished wood, honey wood, mixed metals, olive green glass, matte flatware and natural stoneware. Check out other colors and more in-use examples. Geometric, repetitive patterns have a laid-back, casual feel and add a really playful modern addition to the table. This option could go eclectic mid-century, tropical or farmhouse depending on your style. I'd match this pattern with raw ceramic, maybe terra cotta, brass accents and, emerald glass, matte black accents, and of course, lots of greenery.
